Chia, who played at the 2005 Open at St. Andrews, finished with a 6-under 138 two-day total. Chia booked his second British Open appearance, qualifying along with Adam Blyth of Australia, Lam Chih Bing of Singapore and Angelo Que of the Philippines. The quartet will play in the British Open in July at Royal Birkdale, England.
