The closest thing to a heated modern rivalry is Tiger Woods versus Phil Mickelson. But even that is dimmed by Tiger’s utter dominance (14 major championships to Lefty’s three).

“The questions they ask I have to have an answer for or find an answer for them. ”Kirk definitely has the answers. This is the third time he has been the recipient of the award named in honor of one of golf’s most respected instructors. The award recognizes a STPGA member who best exemplifies performance at the club section and national levels. “If you look at our section the level of coaching talent for the golfing community in this area they’re fortunate to have access to a lot of great teachers” Kirk said. Previously Kirk helped establish a golf instructor certification program at the Cypresswood School of Golf in 1995.
